I have known Tom for about 10 years. In that time, he has been active in our city government on the Charter Commission and Planning Commission. Tom has talked off and on over that time about wanting to serve on the City Council when the time was right. I have no doubt that Tom will bring his experience from the work background in urban planning to his knowledge gained on serving on the commissions to help shape the future of our city.
Tom is a thoughtful and kind person who is good at listening to people to hear their perspective. I have enjoyed volunteering over the years with Tom at HeightsNEXT events and our shared passion for gardening and our community.
